One more non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) produced and marketed by Mylan Pharmaceuticals - Piroxicam, otherwise generally known as brand-named Feldene. Needless saying that Mylan manufactures a generic version of the medicine. Feldene is said to be an effective remedy to treat swelling and inflammation. As a result, it can reduce pain. Swelling is often caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, so, Feldene is widely used for treatment these conditions, or relieving painful and unpleasant sensations provoked by them.
Mylan Pharmaceuticals distributes Feldene in green capsules, 10mg (Mylan 1010) or 20mg (Mylan 2020) in strength.
